Philippines Defeated Brazil!

In football. Yes! Football as in Soccer in American term! The powerhouse Brazil thumped by the Philippines!

MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines pulled off a stunning 6-2 victory over Brazil Thursday night for its first victory in the 1st Deloitte Street Children World Cup in Dunbar, South Africa.

Noriel Pineones sparked the Filipinos with four goals, including three in the first half that set the tone for the awe-inspiring triumph.

The Philippines faces Ukraine in the semifinals of the SCWC Shield.

The Filipinos finished the group stage third behind Britain and Tanzania with a win against two losses.

Philippines Failed to Qualify in the AFF Suzuki Cup Finals

Philippines failed to qualify due to goal difference. Thanks to Cutillas’ brilliant football tactics, hehe. Anyway, here is the the full fixtures and results and final standings. The first two teams qualify and will play in December in Thailand and Indonesia.

Even if Giligan’s were playing with a depleted lineup they managed to salvaged a draw against Union FC. Several key players are FEU standouts and was out somewhere doing some personal stuff. Giligan’s currently has 3 wins, 2 draws and no losses, and is ranked first place in the standings.
