From memory, the Azkals held tryouts back in April, May and June of this year. Borromeo even went to Daly City, San Francisco. And there were even tryouts in Germany during the preparation for the 1st Rd WC qualifiers.
April - May is during the Euro off-season and this is also during the summer holidays in Philippines. During this period, the U-23 PFF Suzuki Championship was held. It was also used as a tryout for the U-23 team.
