@ all of you. stop the nonsense. Colin Powell, who is as american as can be was actually not even american, he is Jamaican, his parents were full blooded JAMAICANS. now just think if the americans said, oh no he cant be an american solider, oh no he cant be the chief of staff of the armed forces, becuase he's not full blooded american. That would have deprvied america of a great leader and great talent, who contributed much to their country and society. so lets stop this bullshit about fil-foreighners and full blooded filipinos, as long as it is allowed by the rules and they contribute, why should we stiop progress just because of some backward thinking BIGOTS.

    Thank you.

Wow, this topic of the "foreigners" is really a sore subject....

So if any of my boys, whom by the way are tremendously talented players (if I may say so myself) were to be interested in representing their fathers birth country, will they be stoned? LOL! Just kidding...no but now seriously speaking. I am Mexican/American, I have dual citizenship in both Mexico and the USA, and if any of my boys were called up to the Mexican National Team, they would be eligible, even if they were not born there, and even if they are only half Mexican.

Is this the same in the Philippines? I am curious now, cause you just never know... ;-)
