Why has this thread been polluted by a lending web site? This has nothing to do with football?

Back on topic, I would also like to bring a flag to the match - very big size. You see these in a lot of African and South American matches, and they R-E-A-L-L-Y make an impact. However, I have a sense that there are a lot of RESTRICTIVE RULES about what can and cannot be brought in - for example no umbrellas despite the fact that more than half the stadium is UNCOVERED! :0 Does anyone know if there is a rule against bringing a flag into the match? Would hate to go to all the time and effort of making the flag only to have it confiscated at the gate!!!!

Admin, someone wants to "Hijack" a thread from a new member. Is this allowed here?

Teddy, apart from the prohibition of umbrella, "the organizers will also enforce strict security measures, prohibiting items like cigarettes and lighters, laser pens and pointers, balloons, candles, fireworks and pyrotechnics, alcohol, illegal drugs, large chains, bracelets, wallet chains and metal buckles, glass bottles, PET bottles, cans and large plastic containers."

There was no mention of flags... I hope it will be allowed.

Is there anyone on the forum with links into the PFF that can confirm in advance? I really don't want to go to the trouble only to have the flag removed at the gate. I am really excited to do this, "big flags" really make a statement and they look great to the players when they see it from the field. They really enhance the team support and spirit of the event. If you have ever seen some of the fanatic fan support shown in the african nations or in south america, you can see the flags used and appreciate how they really enhance the spirit of the supporters... I also hope they will be allowed!
