Seems a bit odd to me. INC is notorious for being closed to any but those who are of their own. Just try to visit one of their churches some time when their mass is not ongoing, and my experience has been that you will be politely refused. Contrast this to the great cathedrals in Europe, where you are welcome to enter and praise god or just admire the splendid architecture at virtually any time during the day. Also, I just wonder what the mass of INC parishoners feel about this project? I admit I am very ignorant of the INC (and would welcome polite education in this regard!). But the INC advocates I have known and worked with are very pious people. I just wonder what they think about their funds being used to create such a stadium, as opposed to being used for more direct aid for the needy????
From an operational perspective, I just cannot imagine how the stadium will be operated. The video indicates it will be totally enclosed, and fully air conditioned. Can you imagine how much it would cost to aircon this structure on an hourly basis???
These are just a few questions that come to mind as I view this video. I applaud the ambition and vision, but from a practical point of view I feel there are so many issues here that just cloud the whole project...
