Hello everybody Im new here!

Hi Kiko, welcome to Azkals.com! Keep coming back here.
hi kiko. can you tell us something about yourself? have you been playing for some time?
welcome!!
Welcome Kiko!!!
So do you have any "formal" training/playing experience? How old are you?
I know this is going to come across kind of rude, but please know I really intend well...
What makes you feel so secure in saying "Im planning to join Our national u19 squad when I become 16 and go straight to azkals after I reach 19?" In other words, what do you have to offer that is so unique and special, that the National U19 squad will not be able to pass you up?
I like your confidence, and I don't mean to burst your bubble, but you are going to endure A LOT of criticism along the way, so if you can take it here, it will only give you a little preparation for what may come.
And by the way, I wish you all of the success in this great endeavor...please keep coming here and keeping us abreast of your career...
Well one thing I think of is I still have a lot of time to train and well Ive already training hard I play atleast 3 hrs everyday Yeah you may say I have no experience in Football but Im always thinking how Cristiano Ronaldo and the Others became one of the greatest.. They started little then became the great. Im really dreaming to be one of the greatest football player because I really want to prove to everybody that even the country who doesnt even know what football is... can top the greatest in the world... and also Its my dream since I was a kid I really want to help our country. They might say or everybody might say that it will be only a dream for me. They might say too that "How could you be the greatest? You dont even know what football is?" but it is all about how you dream and persevere. so please dont spoil my dream... :)
;o) No worries, I will NOT spoil your dream...however, I will challenge you so that you keep your eye on the prize. I may post here with comments that may upset you, but know this is coming from a good place.
What I tell my boy's everyday is "if this truly is what you want, you have to want it more then anything else, it has to become second nature to you next to breathing, it has to be what drives you day in and day out, and NO matter what anyone tells you, it can NEVER pull you down. You have to be prepared to receive the harsh criticism, and you have to remain humble when receiving the compliments and praises. You have to ALWAYS know it takes a second to see your dreams shattered and a lifetime to have to build these back up, but in the end you have to LIVE YOUR DREAM, for no one else can do this for you."
@Kiko, never let anyone make you feel like this is not for you...but do take the criticism and turn these into positives...for your dreams are your own, and only you can manifest these into realities...
So, if I post something, be reminded it does come from a good place in my heart. I have 3-boys of my own, and I of course want the best for them. But I also am responsible for grounding them to reality, and it is my job to ensure they understand they can only go as far as they can believe in themselves.
You will strive, as long as you believe in yourself, you practice what you love to perfecting this for YOU! Keep your eye on the prize, and DO NOT lose your passion! Because from what I read above, you have the right passion. Do not get hung up... "so please dont spoil my dream..." for you are the one in the drivers seat... :o)
Soccer is like my life already even though Im not in the pitch so everytime Philippines loss. Im always thinking maybe someday I could help my own country to be successful in the world and become the greatest. In my whole life, I never stopped believing that I will be a great football player someday. Some people thinks only about money so thats why they play football but for me its different Football is a big challenge that even the greatest Players cant predict or win the game in their own. Criticism is not a reason to back out for me.
:o) when you play futbol from the heart, the money is an added bonus!
hello :)
Welcome Kiko here in Azkals.com
Hi Kiko,
You are still very young. Well there is nothing wrong in dreaming because what you aspire keeps you going.
I suggest you join a youth soccer / football club in your community. I started playing football at age 11 or 12. Then played competitive at age 15 during High School. Even if we loss to a much better team and players, we enjoyed the game and had fun. If ever you reach 16 and want to get a college athletic scholarships with major universities (UAAP or NCAA) in Metro Manila. You can apply with them as well before joining the National Team. At least you have a fallback with a college degree if ever you incur an injury or can no longer play the game.
